Embracing your natural gray hair

I dyed my hair until I was 32. One day gray hair came up in conversation at work, and I said, “I’m about 80% grey.” The co-director of the arts centre, encouraged me to stop dying it, and said; “come with me.”

We walked to the salon next door and he pointed to the owner’s wife, and said “you could have that.” She was a beautiful woman with short gray hair.

I got an undercut and the trimmed back the upper dyed parts for about 8 months. Since then I get daily compliments, but also low hair fees.
